He is survived by: wife- Marianne Freeman of Paoli; sons- Robin Freeman & wife, Vicki of Las Vegas, NV, Jon Miley & wife, Mary Ruth of Paoli, Joe Miley of Odon & Jason Miley & wife Mandey of Paoli; niece- Denise Rockwell & husband Denny; nephews- Jim Wolfhope & wife, Tammy & Mark Wolfhope; grandchildren- Ashley Moretto & husband, Mark, Lindsey Freeman, Kevin Wagner & wife, Rebecca, Olivia Miley, Jessica Miley, Jacob Miley, Stephanie Gayvert & Jennifer Owen; great grandchildren- Mackenzie Gayvert, Kamryn Gayvert, Whilloh Miley, Bri Andis, Vann Andis & Rigo Torres. He is preceded in death by: parents- Raymond & Norma (Smith) Freeman; sister- Ruth Ann Wolfhope & daughter Anita Wagler.

James R. Freeman was a retired banker and attended the Paoli First Baptist Church.
