James Edward Portukalian

James Edward Portukalian passed away October 22, 2019 at University of Louisville Hospital at the age of 61. He was born September 29, 1958 in Carthage, MO to parents, Allen Eugene & Rosetta (Hobgood) Portukalian. He married Wendy (Burns) Portukalian on June 6, 1981. James was a self-employed contractor and member of Fellowship Baptist Church of Corydon.

Survivors include- Wife- Wendy Portukalian of Orleans

Daughters- Joanna Miller of Medford, OR, Janel Trussell of Corydon, Julia Simon of Corydon & Joylynn Portukalian of Orleans

Sons- Jacob Portukalian of San Francisco, CA, Josiah Portukalian of West Hollywood, CA, Jared Portukalian of Charlestown, IN, Jonathan Portukalian, James Howard Portukalian & Justin Portukalian all of Orleans

Sisters- Janice Portukalian of Redding, CA, Deborah Portukalian of Vancouver, WA, Glenda Lewis of Parma, ID & Joleen Soma of Ridgefield, WA

Brother- Mark Portukalian of Bellingham, WA

8 Grandchildren

James is preceded in death by: son- Joseph Portukalian & granddaughter Zoe Trussell.

Visitation will be from 5-8pm Thur. October 24 at McAdams Mortuary. Funeral will be 3pm Fri. October 25 at the funeral home. Pastor James Shaw & Pastor Sam Morris will officiate. Burial will be in Stampers Creek Cemetery.
