Marie E. (Chastain) Doan-Elliott

Marie E. Doan Elliott, 87, of Paoli, passed away August 25, 2018 at IU Health Paoli Hospital. She was born July 21, 1931 in Paoli to parents, William and Jesse Pearl (Gillum) Chastain. She is survived by: sons- Mike Doan, Paul Doan & Brian Doan all of Paoli; daughters- Patricia Doan of Paoli, Linda Kerby of Hillham, Karen Loveall of Bloomington, Nancy Perry of Marietta, GA and Carol Singelstad of French Lick; brother- Clyde Chastain of Paoli; sister Joyce Jones of Shoals; 16 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Marie E. Doan-Elliott is preceded in death by: parents; first husband- Russell Doan & second husband, Howard Elliott; son- Rex Doan; brothers- Benny Chastain & Duane Chastain & grandson- Trevor Doan.

Marie E. Doan-Elliott was a retired CNA at Orange County hospital for over 25 years, She attended Ames Chapel Church of West Baden. 

Visitation will be from 5-8pm Tuesday, August 28 at McAdams Mortuary. Funeral will be 1pm Wednesday August 29 at the funeral home. Bro. Doug Finney will officiate. Burial will be in Ames Chapel Cemetery.
