Martha Louise (Akers) Davisson

Martha Louise Davisson of French Lick passed away November 21, 2019 at Springs Valley Meadows at the age of 88. She was born October 1, 1931 in West Baden to parents, Herbert & Sadie (Garloch) Akers. She married Glenn "Bud" Davisson February 6, 1954. Martha was a homemaker and member of Springs Valley Wesleyan Church. 

Survivors include: Daughter- Jeanne Smith & husband, Gary of Pekin 

Son- Roger Davisson & wife Nancy of French Lick 

Brother- Melvin Akers & wife Helen of St. Meinrad 

Sister-n-law- Mary Ruth Akers of Jasper

Grandchildren- Luke Andrews, Sarah Andrews both of West Baden, J.T. Davisson of Greenwood, Ben Davisson of Shoals & Alicia Davisson of French Lick

She is preceded in death by: parents, husband, brother- Charles Akers & sister- Mary Allen Royer.

Visitation will be from 5-8pm Sunday November 24 at McAdams Mortuary. Funeral will be 1pm Monday, November 25 at the funeral home. Bro John Moffatt & Bro. Harvey McAdams will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery of French Lick.
