Martin John Frank Sr.

Martin John Frank Sr. passed away at his home on November 11, 2019 at the age of 91. He was born May 21, 1928 in Louisville, KY to parents Albert Frank and Mary (Thomas) Frank. He first married Verna Catherine Miller on June 26, 1948, she passed away August 5, 1977. Martin later married Roselene Miller Bowman on July 26, 1985, she passed away November 3, 2008. Martin was a World War II US Air Force Veteran. He retired from Whiteside Chemical Co. of Louisville, KY, and he was a farmer and carpenter. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.

Survivors include: 

Sons- Martin John Frank Jr. of Orleans, Danny Jerome Frank of Panama City Beach FL, Ronald Bowman of New York & Bruce Bowman of New York

Daughters- Donna Lynn Frank of Dale, Mary Katrina Wann of Paoli, Pamela Dawn Wolfe of Paoli, Sharon Brockman of Ohio, Janet Harris & Sondra Breckel both of Kentucky

14 Grand Children

28 Great-Grandchildren

1 Great-Great- Grandchild

Sisters- June Carpenter & Zita Elmore both of Kentucky

Brother- Leo Frank of New Albany

Martin was preceded in death by: brothers- AJ Frank & Robert Frank; sisters- Anna Smiddy, Jean Coleman & Virginia Browning.

VIsitation will be from 4-8pm Thursday, November 14 at Christ the King Catholic Church of Paoli. Funeral Mass will be 10am Friday, November 15 at the church. Father Peter Gallagher will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michaels Cemetery, Louisville, KY.
