Roger Hopkins

Roger Hopkins, 78, of Marengo, passed away Wednesday August 22, 2018 at his home. He was born October 26, 1939 in Chumuckla, FL to parents, Zollie & Mary Louise (Cook) Hopkins.  He is survived by: wife- Bessie Faye (Miller) Hopkins of Marengo; daughters- Cynthia Murphy & husband, Lance of Hardinsburg & Annaree Fleenor & husband Kerie of Paoli; sons- Roger Wayne Hopkins & wife LouAnn of Salem & Jarrod L. Hopkins & wife, Jeana of Hardinsburg; grandchildren- Bryce Murphy of Paoli; Tristan Murphy of Scottland; Cody Murphy of Fort Campbell, KY, Marissa Fleenor of Paoli, Sierra L. Hopkins of Hardinsburg; Vincent Hopkins of Salem, Jasmine Snyder of Louisville, KY & Jacob Hopkins of Salem; great grandchildren- Bentley Hopkins of Paoli, Wyatt Hopkins & Harper Hopkins both of Salem; brothers- Raymon Hopkins of Pensacola, Fl, Steven Hopkins of Houston, TX & Alvin Hopkins of Pensacola, FL; sisters- Ann Wyn of Newaygo, MI, Maxine Macks of Pensacola, FL, Jerri Crawford of Shenandoah Junction, WV, Sandra Cole of Fallon, NV & Sheila Watson, Pensacola, FL & several nieces and nephews. 

Roger Hopkins was retired from Indiana Handle Company formerly of Paoli and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church of Hardinsburg.

VIsitation will be from 11am-1pm Saturday, August 25 at McAdams Mortuary. Funeral will follow at 1pm at the funeral home. Bro. Bill McCrary will officiate. Burial will be in Elizabeth Chapel Cemetery, Chumuckla, FL. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Fellowship Baptist Church: 304 W. Cheshire Lane, Hardinsburg, IN 47125.
