Jerry Lee Patton

Jerry Lee Patton, age 75, of Orleans, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2023, at his home. He was born on June 1, 1948, in Livonia to his parents, Harold Cletis Patton and Alice Marie (Tincher) Patton. Jerry married the love of his life, Linda Jean Barnett, on January 23, 1967. A dedicated worker, Jerry enjoyed a fulfilling career at Paoli Inc., where he devoted 30 years of his life before retiring. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work and commitment. Jerry enjoyed hunting and fishing and playing with his great-grandchildren.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Linda Patton of Orleans, and their children: Teresa Free (Warren Jr.) of Paoli, Jack Patton (Lori) of Valeene, and Jamie Patton (Joann) of Marengo. He is also remembered by his grandchildren Jessica, Zachary, Austin, and Alliey, as well as five great-grandchildren. He is fondly remembered by his surviving siblings: Jeannie McCabe (Ronnie) of Paoli, Sandra Blout of Mitchell, Bonnie Doan (Milt) of Hardinsburg, Ronald "Dake" Patton (Cindy) of Palmyra and Terry Patton of Livonia, and sister-n-law Betty Patton of Campbellsburg.

Jerry is preceded in death by his brothers Robert, Ivan, Marvin, and Roger Patton, and one sister, Connie Godbey.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at McAdams Mortuary on Wednesday, November 22, from noon until 2 o'clock. The funeral service, officiated by Bro.
