Barbara A. Coe

Barbara A. Coe, age 76, of Paoli, formerly of Spencer, WV passed away June 9, 2025 at Paoli Health and Living Community. She was born February 4, 1949 in Spencer, WV to parents, Grover & Sylvia (Batten) Tanner. Barbara retired from the West Virginia State Child Support Division, and after moving to Indiana she went on to work several years as a caretaker for ResCare of Paoli. Barbara loved horses and horseback riding, she enjoyed cooking, reading, feeding her hummingbirds and working crosswords.

She is survived by:

Husband- Jackie L. Coe of Paoli

Sons- Glenn Coe & Dale DeWayne Coe both of Paoli

Grandchildren- Jacob Coe, Sylvia Coe-Martin (Wade), Katie Coe, Miranda Evans, Tanner Coe, Jodie Cole & Courtney Dillard

Great-grandchildren- Cooper, Calliope, Sebastian, Allen & Mia

Brother- Roy Tanner (Chrystal) of Spencer, WV

Sister- Carolyn Tanner (Scott) of Charleston, WV

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents Grover & Sylvia Tanner, daughter, LeAnn Coe and brother, John Tanner.
