Barbara Ann Hobson

Barbara Ann Hobson, age 78, of Orleans, passed away at her home on June 8, 2026.

Born on March 18, 1948, in Paoli, Barbara was the daughter of Faye Walls. She was a homemaker and loving wife, and helped run the family logging business.

On April 23, 1966, Barbara married Kenny Hobson, and together they shared sixty years of marriage.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Kenny Hobson of Orleans; her daughter, Kimberly Hobson of Orleans; her sister, Pat Hunker of Tucson, Arizona; her granddaughter, June Hobson of Indianapolis; her step-grandsons, Jacob Hedge and Jordan Hedge, both of Paoli; and her step-granddaughter, McKali Hedge of Paoli.

The visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at McAdams Mortuary in Paoli.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 15, 2026, at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Ames Chapel Cemetery.
