Bobby Wade Myers

Bobby Wade Myers, age 70, peacefully entered into rest on August 16, 2022 at the University of Louisville Hospital. He was born April 11, 1952, to parents Norman Wade & Mary Mae (Doan) Myers. He married Peggy Dixon December 5, 1970. Bobby was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. He retired from the U.S. Census Bureau of Jeffersonville, CGG  and from Western Geo Physical where he worked on a ship for a year. He was a member of the Paoli Church of Christ and helped at Spring Mill Bible Camp. Bobby graduated from Indiana University with his BA in geology and loved collecting rocks. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and astronomy, but most of all he loved his family, grandkids, and the church.

Wife- Peggy Myers of Hardinsburg

Mother- Mary Mae Myers of Floyds knobs

Son- Michael Myers (Connie) of Houston Texas

Sister- Cathy DeNuzio (Jerry) of Florence Kentucky

Brother- N. Brian Myers of Hardinsburg

Grandchildren- Vanessa Sitsler, Brandon Myers, Shawn Myers, Serena Myers and Wesley Myers

Great-grandchildren- Gabriel Sitsler, Caleb Sitsler and Sophia Sitsler

Visitation for Bobby Wade Myers will be from 5-7pm Friday, August 19 at McAdams Mortuary. Funeral will be 11am Saturday August 20 at the funeral home. Bro. Lee Collins will officiate. Burial will be in Hardinsburg Cemetery. For condolences visit mcadamsmortuary.com
