Catherine "Chris" Christina Stroud

Catherine “Chris” Christina Stroud, 83, of Paoli, passed away at her home on November 17, 2024. She was born on May 3, 1941, in Louisville, KY, to Walter S.Sr. and Mary Katherine (O’Bryan) West.

Chris retired from Kimballs of Jasper and was a devoted member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Paoli.

She is survived by three daughters, Linda Manship (David) of Hardinsburg, Nancy Radcliff (Darren), and Jennifer Coleman (Jeff) all of Paoli; son-in-law, Keith Osborne of Owensboro, KY; her sisters Mary Evelyn Hollrah (Dallas) of New Salisbury, Paula Dirck of Corydon, and Rosetta Parker (Darrell) of New Salisbury; her brother James West (Alice) of New Salisbury, sister-n-law, Linda West of Bloomington; grandchildren, Nathan Manship (Nia), Natalie Lane (Joe), Olivia Spears (David), Jack Coleman (Hannah), Paige Radcliff; Elizabeth Radcliff, Anna Radcliff, Jarrett Coleman, Julie Radcliff, Jillian Coleman, and great-grandchildren, Ava, Max, Cooper, Liam, Henry, George, Mary Catherine, Phillip, Andrew, Gatlin & Layton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Jr. Stroud; her son, Timothy Lynn Stroud; her daughter, Ramona Osborne; her sister, Roberta Martin; and her brothers, Walter West Jr. & Bernard West.

Chris was a woman full of life, with an unyielding love for her family. She cherished her time with her loved ones and will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit.

A funeral mass will be held at 11 am, Friday, November 22 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Paoli. Father Joe Moriarty will officiate, with burial following at Marengo cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8pm Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Christ the King Church fellowship hall.
