Chris Wayne King

Chris Wayne King, age 53 of English, passed away September 30, 2025, at his home. He was born June 19, 1972, in Paoli to Terry Wayne King and Joan (Hopper) King Kelly. On September 20, 2012, he married Tracy Lynn Cook.

Chris had formerly worked at King’s Treasures and Sawmill of Taswell. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be remembered for his kind heart and the love he shared with those around him.

Survivors include his wife, Tracy Lynn King of English; mother, Joan (Joe) Kelly of Paoli; father, Terry Wayne (Ruth) King of Taswell; sister, Sarah Beth Dearborn (Jacob) of French Lick; daughter, Jessica Marie King (Bruce Lee Miller) of Taswell; sons, Christopher Tyler King of Marengo and William Wayne Wallace King of English; sister-in-law, Tara Cook of Paoli; nieces and nephew, Lindsay Russell and Evan Morasch; and great-nieces and nephews, Gunner, Coen, and Waylon Dearborn.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Andrew Eli King

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at McAdams Mortuary. Bro. Jesse Breeding will officiate. Burial will follow in Patoka Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4–7 p.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at the mortuary. For condolences, please visit mcadamsmortuary.com.
