Clint Buttery

Clint Buttery, 53, of Dubois, died at his home on March 13, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 17, 1973, to Ray and Judy Buttery. On September 27, 1997, he married Tess Jones, and she survives.

Clint worked for many years at Reynolds and also worked for Dubois County Water Utilities and the Dubois County Highway Department. Most recently he was employed at Kimball Recycling in Jasper. For a time he owned and operated After Hours Excavating.

He enjoyed working in his garage, camping with his family, truck pulling, supporting his daughters in 4-H activities, and caring for the family’s cats and dogs.

Survivors include his wife, Tess Buttery; his mother, Judy Buttery Wilder; and his daughters, Amber Buttery and Madie Buttery. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a longtime friend, Scott Daugherty.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Buttery.

A celebration of Clint’s life will be held at a later date. McAdams Mortuary is handling arrangements.
