Cody Rogers Murphy

Cody Rogers Murphy, age 26 of Hardinsburg, passed away on July 25, 2024 in Valeene. He was born on April 18, 1998 in Fort Stewart, GA to parents Lance Todd Murphy & Cynthia (Hopkins) Murphy. Cody was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was employed at Fabtration Welding Co. in Georgetown. Cody attended the Valeene Wesleyan Church. He loved the outdoors where he enjoyed fishing, kayaking, shooting guns, golfing, & riding his bike. Cody also liked welding and playing video games. He greatly cherished hanging out with friends and family. 

Survivors include his parents - Lance and Cindy Murphy of Hardinsburg, brothers - Bryce Murphy (Amy) of Marengo & Tristan Murphy (Hannah) of Indianapolis, niece - Isla Murphy of Indianapolis, Maternal Grandmother - Bessie Hopkins of Marengo, Girlfriend - Shailey Grigsby of Leavenworth 

He is preceded in death by his Maternal Grandfather - Roger Hopkins, & Paternal Grandparents - Gary Murphy & Pam Mills

The visitation for Cody Rogers Murphy will be on Monday, July 29, 2024 from 4-8 pm at McAdams Mortuary. The funeral will be on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at 1 pm at the funeral home. Bro.
