Darvin Dale Apple

Darvin Dale Apple, age 78 of Paoli, passed away on August 13, 2025 at his daughter's home in Paoli, He was born on March 17, 1947 in Paoli to Garold Dewan Apple & Georgia (Benefiel) Apple. Darvin married Linda Ann Grimes Apple on June 10, 1967. He was a Math teacher at Paoli School Corp. & North Harrison, and a Professor for IU and Ivy Tech Community College. Darvin was also a farmer and the owner and operator of several businesses. He was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge Newton Stewart, and a former minister of the Church of Christ. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, wood working, farming, gardening, collecting antiques, and socializing.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Ann Apple of Paoli; daughters, Sherry Wise (Harold "Geno") of Paoli & Heather Apple-Nichols of Paoli; son, William "Billy" Apple (Taylor) of Indianapolis; brother, Larry Gene Apple (Kathy) of Paoli; grandchildren, Aaron Wise (Tyse') of Paoli, Nova Nichols, Dyson Nichols of Paoli, Dexter Apple, Kara Apple, Gavin Apple, & Adrian Apple; great grandchildren, Mirra Wise & Noraa Wise.

He was preceded in death by his parents. 

 The visitation for Darvin Dale Apple will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025 from 4 - 7pm with a Masonic Service at 7pm at McAdams Mortuary. The funeral will be on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 11 am at the funeral home. Bro. Harvey McAdams will officiate. The burial will be in the Apple Chapel Cemetery, Paoli, IN.
