David James “DJ” Dale Hanifen, age 48, of Salem, passed away at home on October 23, 2025. He was born on July 27, 1977 in Louisville, KY, to parents, Steve & Wanda (McCauley) Hanifen. He was formerly employed at ICON in Corydon.
Survivors include: his father, Steven Hanifen of Sulphur & sister- Stevie Lee Nicole Hanifen of New Albany. DJ is preceded in death by his mother.
