Debra Jean (Walton) Moore

Debra Jean Moore, 65 of Milltown, passed away January 12 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany. She was born June 7, 1955 in Louisville to parents, Gobel & Maxine (Renner) Walton. She married Robert Henry Moore Jr. July 14, 1973. Debra was a member of Valeene Christian Church and she was a homemaker.

She is survived by: Husband- Robert "Bob" Henry Moore Jr. of Milltown

Daughter- Emily Watts & Husband, Douglas of Milltown

Son- Robert Henry Moore III and Wife, Rachel of Milltown

Sisters- Marilyn Nichols of Louisville; Wanda Wheatly of Mt. Washington; Karen Smith of Milltown; Carol Walton of Clarksville; Vickie Maloney of Louisville & Cathy Kramer of Louisville

Grandchildren- Derek Watts & Wife, Sharon, Brandon Watts, Layla Moore, Bobby Moore, Charlie Moore, Naomi Moore, Joely Bevins & Logan Back

Debra is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bobby Walton.

Funeral will be 2pm Sunday, January 17 at Valeene Christian Church.Pastor Robert Moore III will officiate.Burial will be in Milltown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-7pm Saturday, January 16 at McAdams Mortuary and after 1pm on Sunday at the church. McAdams Mortuary is following CDC guidelines regarding the Coronavirus pandemic. Attendance will be limited to 25 guests at a time. Guests are required to wear masks and practice social distancing (6 ft). If you are showing symptoms of illness (fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting or diarrhea) please do not attend.
