A Memorial service will be held at 10am, Saturday, May 5 at Tunnel Hill Free Methodist Church of English.Bro. Doug Byrum will officiate. Cremation was chosen for Delmer H. Smith, 73, of English.
He is survived by: wife- Lucille (Reeder) Smith of English, sons- Tony Smith & wife Kathy of English & David Smith & wife Deanna of Dale; granddaughters- Miranda Smith & Samantha Smith. He is preceded in death by: parents- Burley & Rachel (Byrd) Smith; daughter- Debbie Smith; brothers- Clarence Smith, Ted Smith & Ernest Lee Smith and sisters- Francis Marie Mullins, Nena P. Stinson, Vina Neal & Mary Ileta Davidson.
Delmer H. Smith was a retired employee of Mullins Stave Mill formerly of English. He was a member of Tunnel Hill Free Methodist Church of English.
