Delores Helen Straley

Delores Helen Straley, age 93 of French Lick, passed away on December 24, 2024 at Springs Valley Meadows. She was born on February 1, 1931 to Edward Waigand & Katherine Marotte Waigand. Delores married Gleason Straley on April 24, 1971. He later preceded her in death on August 23, 2000. Delores was a homemaker and a member of the Orange County Senior Citizens. She also attended Sulfur Creek Bible Church in French Lick.

Survivors include her step-son - Richard Straley of Beaver Creek, OH, 3 step-grandchildren, 3 step-great-grandchildren, & caregivers - Susan Lagenour & Paula Lagenour both of Dubois

She is preceded in death by her husband, brother - Edward C. Waigand, sisters - Ellinor Depper, Lillian Gillaspie, & Louise Russell

Visitation will be Sunday, December 29, 2024 from 4-6 pm at McAdams Mortuary in Paoli. A graveside service will be on Monday, December 30, 2024 at 2 pm est. at Smith Cemetery in Clay City, IL. For condolences visit mcadamsmortuary.com
