Donna C. Daugherty

Donna C. Daugherty, age 74, of Salem, Indiana, passed away on October 7, 2025. Born on March 5, 1951, in Indianapolis, Donna married Jack Daugherty on April 12, 1974. Jack preceded her in death on January 20, 2021. Donna was a retired school bus driver with a passion for handling cattle. She loved her dogs and horses and for years enjoyed square dancing at Spring Mill. She was also a member of the Mitchell American Legion.

Her children survive her, Michael L. Vernon, Sherry Vernon, and Shannon Daugherty, along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband- Jack and brothers- Ronald, Charles and Donald Kerby and sister Diane Kerby.

Visitation for Donna C. Daugherty will be from 11 am-1 pm Saturday, October 11, 2025 at McAdams Mortuary. The funeral will follow at 1 pm at the funeral home. Bro. Mike Eads will officiate. Cremation will follow. The family requests in lieu of flowers that contributions be made toward the funeral expenses.
