Doyle Eugene Wells

Doyle Eugene Wells, 88, of Paoli, passed away, Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Paoli Health and Living Community. He was a U.S. Army Veteran & member of Paoli First Baptist Church. He was retired from Essex formerly of Orleans.

Doyle Eugene Wells was born January 21, 1930 in Paoli, IN, to parents- Aylas & Mable (Denton) Wells. He married Gloria Sue (Meyer) Wells on November 7, 1953, she precedes him in death.

Survivors include: daughters- Donita Gehl of Paoli, Connie Asbery of Colombia City, Betty Morris of Paoli & Brenda Archer of French Lick; sons- Charles Wells of Paoli, Max Wells of English & Ronnie Wells of Kentucky; brothers- Howard Wells, Nashville & Gerald Wells of Minnesota; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by: son- Brad Wells; sister Margie Wells & brothers- "Jr" Aylas Wells, Glenndon Wells & Chester Wells.

A visitation will be from 5-8pm Thursday, April 26 at McAdams Mortuary. Funeral will be 11am Friday, April 27 at the funeral home & there will be visitation after 9am until the service time. Bro. Robert Longest will officiate. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery.
