Elizabeth A Monroe

Elizabeth A. Monroe, age 91 of Paoli, passed away on May 30, 2025 at Paoli Health & Living Community. She was born on July 9, 1933 in Paoli to Robert & Una (Hammond) Speer. Elizabeth was a retired receptionist for Bales & Therobred Car dealerships in Arizona. She enjoyed basketball, baseball, horse racing, and car racing. She loved observing wildlife such as birds, deer, and turkeys. Elizabeth was known for her humor, smile, and joy that filled her heart. She was supportive and lifted up her family and friends. Elizabeth attended the Valeene Christian Church.

Son - Terry Monroe (Cindy) of Hardinsburg

Daughter - Susan Kaminski (Hank) of Phoenix, AZ

Grandchildren - Tara Jarvis (Steve) Naperville, IL, Kelley Bland (Jared) of Louisville, KY, & Brad Monroe of LA, CA

Great Grandchildren - Grayson Jarvis, Lincoln, & Talia Bland

She is preceded in death by her two sisters - Vaughn Phelps & Mary Ellen Hancock

The visitation for Elizabeth Monroe will be on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 from 11 am - 1 pm at McAdams Mortuary. The funeral will follow at 1 pm. Bro. Harvey McAdams will officiate. The burial will be in the Valeene Cemetery.
