Everett Carroll Wells

Everett Carroll Wells, age 85, of Richmond, TX, passed away on July 4, 2025, at Clayton Oaks Living in Richmond.

Born on January 22, 1940, in Paoli, Indiana, he was the son of Everett Wells and Hazel (Alspaugh) Wells. Everett proudly served his country in the United States Navy and later retired from FlowServe, an oil pump manufacturing company in Vernon, California.

Everett is survived by his daughter, Teresa Scroggins (Mark) of Richmond, TX, and his son, Paul Wells of Lawrenceburg, KY. He was grandfather to Tasha Stevens (Mark), Nicholas Wells (Andrea), Katie Woodrum (Thaddeus), Anthony Wells, Acacia Davis (Chase), and Monica Brown (Levi), and a Great-grandfather to 21 great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by his siblings, Sheila Mowery of Mitchell, Diana Wellman of Paoli, Brenda Scheidler of Evansville, Barbara Weaver of Florida, and Ferrell Wells of French Lick 

Everett was preceded in death by his parents- Everett & Hazel Wells, his daughter -Ann Wells, sister-Wanda Busick, and brothers- Russell Wells & Steve Wells.

The visitation will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025 from 11:30 am - 1 pm at McAdams Mortuary. The funeral will follow at 1 pm at the funeral home. Bro. Harvey McAdams will officiate. Burial will be in the Concord Cemetery. For condolences, visit mcadamsmortuary.com.
