Frankie Steven Stewart

Frankie Steven Stewart, Age 73 of Paoli, Indiana was born in Bedford, IN on March 13, 1952. He was united in marriage to sally Joann Bowman on June 1, 1972.

While surrounded by loved ones, Frankie went home to Jesus on June 27, 2025.

Frankie Steven Stewart is preceded in death by his mother Margaret Crecelius and step dad Jerald Crecelius, Paternal grandmother Neva “Marie” Dewitt and grandfathers Frank McKinley Stewart and Edward Dewitt, and maternal grandparents John and Ruth Medlock.

Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Sally Joann Stewart, Children: Daughter April Stratton and partner David Smith, Son Steven Stewart & wife Amber Stewart

Father & step mom: Frank Junior and Rosie Stewart

Brothers: Joe Stewart & wife Joyce & Ronnie Stewart & wife Sarah

Many Nieces & nephews, aunts, uncles & cousins

Grandchildren: Tessa (Rowan) Stewart, Graham Stewart, Connor Stratton, Camden Stratton, Lillian (Byn) Stratton, Parker Stratton

Throughout his hardworking life, Frankie worked with Crider & Crider Road Construction, Carpenter Body Works, Simmons furniture manufacturing, and Retired from Visteon automotive manufacturing.

Frankie was passionate about playing music and attending music events such as festivals and the farmers market. From hunting mushrooms, and making maple syrup to hiking and cutting wood, Frankie was at peace being surrounded by the woods. He was an avid gardener, enjoyed traveling, and was devoted to his family and friends.

Services for Frankie Steven Stewart will be on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at McAdams Mortuary. Visitation will begin at 11 am until the funeral at 1 pm. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery.  For condolences, visit mcadamsmortuary.com
