Ivan R. Patton

Ivan R. Patton, 81, of Paoli, passed away April 30, 2019 at his home. He was born February 18, 1938 in Muncie, IN to parents, Harold C. & Alice (Tincher) Patton. He married Betty J. (Trinkle) Patton August 1, 1959 and she precedes him in death. Ivan R. Patton was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a retired shop foreman for Indiana Department of Transportation. He was a member of the Paoli Masonic Lodge #119, former member of Orange County Sheriff's reserves & former chief and charter member of Southeast Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors include: Sons- Richard Patton & wife, Sherri of Paoli & Michael Patton & wife Donna of Paoli

Sisters- Bonnie Doan of Hardinsburg, Sandra Kay Blunt of Mitchell & Donna Jean McCabe of Paoli

Brothers- Ronald Patton of Palmyra, Jerry Patton of Paoli, Roger Patton of Livonia & Terry Ray Patton of Livonia

Grandchildren- Jennifer Patton of Lapel, IN, Gabrielle Patton of Paoli, Sarah Troyer Salem & Christopher Rudolph of Paoli

Great-grandchildren- Kahlia Patton of Lapel, IN & Ruby Troyer of Salem

He is preceded in death by: sister- Connie Godbey, brothers- Robert & Marvin Patton & great-grandson- Tucker Troyer.

Funeral will be 1pm Friday May 3 at McAdams Mortuary. Bro. John Harkness will officiate. Visitation will be from 4-8pm, Thursday, May 2 at the funeral home. A Masonic service will be held at 6pm Thursday by Paoli Masonic Lodge #119.  Burial will be in Livonia Cemetery.
