Jacob M. Hochstetler, 93, of Hardinsburg, passed away November 28 in Salem. He was born January 19, 1925 in Berlin, OH to parents, Martin & Elizabeth (Keim) Hochstetler. He married Elizabeth Ann Miller November 8, 1951. He was a US Army veteran & self employed carpenter. He was a member of the Church of God in Christ Mennonite of Campbellsburg.
Jacob M. Hochstetler is survived by: wife- Elizabeth Ann Hochstetler of Hardinsburg; daughters- Mary Shelter & husband, James of Hardinsburg; Rachel Hochstetler of Hutchinson, KS &Judy Wedell & husband, Keith of Morven, NC; sons- Vernon Hochstetler & wife, Shirley of Lynnville, VA, John Hochstetler & wife, Rita of Macon, MS, Jacob Hochstetler Jr. & wife, Georgia of Wellington, CO, M. Neal Hochstetler & wife, Faye of Applecreek, OH; Dan Hochstetler & wife, Evelyn of Marvin, NC & Timothy Hochstetler & wife, Aneta of Marion AL; sisters- Anna Miller, Drusille Weaver & Iva Troyer; 28 grandchildren & 51 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by: brothers- Jonas, Abe, Martin Jr., Moses & Aden Hochstetler & sisters- Edna Yutzy, Mary Ann Weaver & Betty Yoder.
Friends may call from 6-8pm Saturday, December 1 at Southern Hills Mennonite Church of Campbellsburg. Funeral will be 10:30am Sunday, December 2 at the church. Pastor Stan Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Southern Hills Mennonite Cemetery,
