Jerry Gail Perkins

Jerry Gail Perkins, 86, of Paoli, passed away at his home on November 1, 2024. He was born in Paoli on August 24, 1938, to parents, Artle and Hattie (Willis) Perkins. 

Jerry was a U.S. Army veteran. He retired from Reynolds Construction. He was a member of Syria Christian Church. Jerry loved to square dance and traveled across the United States doing RV Ministries with the Assembly of God, sharing his warmth and energy wherever he went. He also gave back through his volunteer work as an excavator for Habitat for Humanity of Orange County, using his skills to make a difference in his local community.

Jerry was preceded in death by his first wife, Doris Dillard Perkins, in 1984, and by his second wife, Etta Margaret Green Perkins, in 2021. He is survived by his loving family: his daughter, Jerri Goodpastor (Chico); his son, Kenneth Perkins (Toni) all of Paoli; his sister, Janie Guy (Larry) of South Bend; his cherished grandchildren, Josie Link (Matt), Jerica Goodpaster, Jeremy Chance Weiss, Jessey Perkins and Rachel Perkins; and seven beloved great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Cora Halbert, Anna Lee Briscoe, Elmo Perkins, George Perkins, and Dale Perkins.

Services for Jerry will be held on Monday, November 4, 2024, at McAdams Mortuary, with visitation from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM officiated by Bro.
