Joann (Love) Lassiter

JoAnn L. Lassiter, age 78, died Friday, July 16, 2021, at her residence. A visitation will be held Wednesday, July 21, 2021, from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. at McAdams Mortuary. Immediately following will be a graveside service at Old Union Cemetery of Orleans.

JoAnn, born in Macon, GA had lived in Cochran for the past 17 years. She was the daughter the late Roy and Emma Maria Love and was preceded in death by her step-son, Kris Zimmerman. She was retired from Robins Air Force Base and a member of Unity Baptist Church in Macon.

Survivors are her husband, Steven G. Zimmerman of Cochran; her step-children, Tim (Rene) Lassiter and Terry (Lynn) Lassiter all of Cochran and Nita Clements of Oklahoma; her granddaughter, Tabitha Coley of Jones County; three great grandchildren; her brother, Billy Love of Macon; her sister, Hazel (Jackie) Harris of Macon; several nieces and nephews.
