John Thomas Cochran Jr.

John Thomas Cochran Jr., 74, of Hardinsburg, passed away October 17, 2025 at IU Health Paoli Hospital. He was born September 6, 1951 in New Albany, to parents, John T. Sr. & Joan M (Spath) Cochran. John was self-employed in various businesses over the years, pursuing interests in real estate, trucking and construction. He was a simple man but could tackle any project he put his mind to. He enjoyed traveling, vacations and was a member of the New Albany VFW.

Children- Mary Brittingham of Petersburg; John Cochran III (Mandy) of Hardinsburg; Carl Cochran of Marengo & Tina Wright of Vincennes

Grandchildren- Joan Cress, Mark Brittingham, Jacob Brittingham, Heidi Cochran, Kena Portukalian, Renee Light & Wyatt Wright

4 great-grandchildren and two on the way

John is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Mike Cochran, and fiancée, Kim Maymon.
