John F. Stone

John F. Stone, age 84 of Paoli, passed away on July 28, 2026 at his home in Paoli. He was born on November 12, 1941 in Paoli to Lewis Matthew Stone Sr. and Lucille Pearl (Freeman) Stone. He was a retired property manager and truck driver. 

Survivors include his son, John Gregory Stone (Tamara) of Spencer; brother, Fred Stone of Sellersburg; daughters, Deborah Lynn Murphy (Steve) of Bloomington and Deanna Lynn Phillips (Brent) of New Hampshire; along with close friends and neighbors, Randy, Carol, and Katie Sanders.

He was preceded in death by his companion, Linda Lane; brothers, Lewis Matthew Stone Jr., William Carol Stone, Freeman Clair Stone, and Wendell Gene Stone. 

A graveside service will be held on 11am on Friday, July 31, 2026 at Stampers Creek Cemetery. Bro. Harvey McAdams will officiate. For condolences visit mcadamsmortuary.com
