Joshua Duane Smitson

Joshua Duane Smitson, age 39 of Hardinsburg, passed away July 14, 2023 at his home. He was born January 12, 1984 in Salem to parents Sherry (Buchanan) and Duane Smitson. Joshua married Lacey Anderson on June 16, 2016. He enjoyed fishing, softball, his dogs, and sports. He was a loving father who enjoyed time with his family.

Children: Audrey Smitson of Hardinsburg, Makenna Smitson of Hardinsburg, Aaron Bayless & Hayden Bayless  both of Paoli

Sister: Serena Smitson of Paoli

Brother: TJ Cummings of Texas

Parents: Sherry & Duane Smitson of Paoli

Nephew: Ryker Arnold of Paoli

Joshua was preceded in death by his cousin - Kyle Turpin, maternal grandparents - Roy & Helen Buchanan & paternal grandparents -Ray & Shirley Smitson.

Visitation for Joshua Smitson will be from 4-7 pm Monday, July 17 at McAdams Mortuary. The funeral will be 11 am Tuesday, July 18 at the funeral home. The burial will be in Paoli Community Cemetery. For condolences visit mcadamsmortuary.com.
