Kimberly Lynne Key

Kimberly Lynne Key, age 55, of Paoli, passed away on September 27, 2025, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

She was born on June 23, 1970, in Paoli, to Hershel and Darla (Green) Martin. On October 15, 1993, she married the love of her life, Terry Key, and together they built a life. Kim worked as a financial counselor at IU Health Paoli Hospital, where she was known for her compassion and dedication to helping others. She had a gift for caring for people and always went the extra mile for patients and coworkers alike.

Beyond her work, Kim enjoyed camping trips, fishing, listening to music, and attending concerts. Most of all, she treasured time spent with her family, who were the heart of her life.

She is survived by her husband, Terry Key of Paoli;

her father, Hershel Martin of North Carolina;

her children, Kristin Lynne (Scott) Jones of Paoli, Dylan (Cassidy) Key of Paoli, and Joshua Key of Indianapolis;

her beloved grandchildren, Bubby Dyl Key, Rae Key, Rye Key, Alexander Jones, Keeghan Jones, and Ashton Jones;

and her great-granddaughter, Nova Jones.

Kimberly was preceded in death by her mother, Darla Martin.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2, from 4:00–8:00 p.m. at McAdams Mortuary. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 3, also at the mortuary. Burial will follow in Paoli Community Cemetery.
