L. Frances Hill

L. Frances Hill, age 96, of Paoli, passed away October 3, 2025, at her home.

She was born July 23, 1929, in French Lick to parents Nathan Williams and Edith Ethel (Morgan-Kendall) Williams. On June 6, 1947, she married Carl “Bob” Hill.

Frances devoted her life to her family and home. She loved dogs and spending time outdoors. She was a faithful and longtime member of Paoli Christian Church and was among the founders of the Life Pregnancy Help Center of Paoli.

Survivors include her daughter, Jane Lindley of Paoli; grandchildren, Sherri Nail, Vicki Allstott, Carol Eubank, and Laban Lindley; 10 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Shirley Bruner; and son, Robert “Vint” Hill.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. Friday, October 10 at McAdams Mortuary. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Chuck Myers will officiate, and burial will be in Paoli’s Odd Fellows Cemetery.
