Larry Russell Richards

Larry Russell Richards, 68 of Orleans, passed away September 20, 2025 at his home. He was born February 23, 1957 in Chicago, IL, to parents James Walter & Louella (Pierce) Richards. He married Patricia Hobson Richards on September 4, 1987. He was a retired owner-operator truck driver. He was a member of Higher Power Outreach Ministries & Victory Baptist Church of Springs Valley.

Survivors include: Wife, Patricia Fern Richards of Orleans; Children, Billy Gene Richards (Lauren) of Paoli, Bobby Joe Richards of Tampa, FL, Charles Jacob Blanton (Shannon) of O’Fallon, IL, James T Richards (Brittany) of Orleans, Jerrod Russell Richards (Jill) of Fishers, brother-n-laws, George T Hobson (Kim) of Paoli & Jack David Hobson of Campbellsburg, sister-n-laws, Carol Ethel Hobson-Allen (Glen) of Brookville, FL & Sandra Sue Hobson of Paoli; grandchildren, Kourtney Morris (Gary) of Perry, FL, Avrey Richards of Paoli, Lanee Blanton of O’Fallon, IL, Rileigh Richards & Ashur Richards both of Orleans, Cooper Blanton & Hallie Blanton both of O’Fallon, IL, great grandchildren, Addie-Sue Morris, Ruger Morris and Ila Gene Mahan and his cousin who was like a brother, Don Richards of Columbia., KY.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Coy Irvin Richards & sister- Brenda Sue Dugger.

Visitation for Larry Richards will be from 4-7pm Wednesday, September 24, at McAdams Mortuary. The funeral will be 11am on Thursday, September 25, at the funeral home. Bro.
