Margaret A. Brown

Margaret A. Brown, age 81, of Paoli, passed away on May 30, 2026, at Jasper Memorial Hospital.

Margaret was born on May 15, 1945, in West Baden, Indiana, to Elvis “Dick” Wilson and Helen (Morris) Wilson. On November 26, 1966, she married Leo Brown, and together they shared many years of love and companionship.

Margaret earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology from Vincennes University and worked as a Medical Technologist for many years. She was a member of the Paoli Church of Christ.

Margaret dearly loved her husband, Leo, and missed him greatly following his passing. Whether she was water skiing on the lake with family or relaxing with an episode of Gunsmoke, Margaret appreciated the moments that brought her happiness.

Survivors include her son, Donald L. Brown (Rosalina) of Alexandria, Louisiana; grandson, Alexander Ray Brown of Alexandria, Louisiana; and siblings, Joe Wilson, Nanette Barnett, and Diana Jones.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leo Brown; and siblings, Mary Wilson and Bob Wilson.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McAdams Mortuary.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 5, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at McAdams Mortuary with Bro. Lee Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Paoli Community Cemetery.
