Marjorie Jo Chastain

Marjorie Jo Chastain, 80, of Paoli, passed away at her home on April 30, 2026.

Born June 7, 1945, in Orange County, Marjorie was the daughter of Elwood James Stroud and Dorothy Lois (White) Stroud. On July 7, 1962, she married Rodney Chastain, and they shared many years together before his passing on March 16, 2024.

Marjorie lived a life rooted in what mattered most to her—her faith. She was known and loved by many. She attended Community Tabernacle in Leavenworth and retired from C & C Transport.

She is survived by her children: Bryan Keith Chastain Sr. (Jennifer) of Manilla, Bradley Kent Chastain (Judy) of Salem, Lori Jo Chastain Weikert (Randall D.) of Paoli, and Barry Kirk Chastain (Angela) of Paoli.

She is also survived by her grandchildren: Carter Cleveland Chastain (Claire), Keaton McElfresh (Trenton), Stephanie Jo Drake (Jordan Marcus), Christian Chastain (Melody), Megan McClure (Brian), Kori Cullipher (Jeff), Bryan K. Chastain Jr. (Kaila), Christopher Logan Weikert (Viet), P. K. Shannon (Virginia), and Brenna Shannon; great-grandchildren: Ezra, Willie Jo, Mollie, Anderson, Maple, Darbie, Conner, Carson, Dakota, and Wrennly; and siblings, Rebecca Haworth, Carolyn Dooley & Steven Stroud (Sharon).

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rodney; and loved ones, Logan Wade, Sonny Stroud, Brenda Parks, Janet, and Loraine.

Visitation to honor Marjorie will be held Sunday, May 3, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Funeral will follow at 6 p.m. at McAdams Mortuary, with Bro. Chad Stroud & Bro. Steven Stroud officiating. Burial will be held privately at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
