Martha E. (Mattingly) Stroud

Martha E. Stroud, 69 of Marengo, passed away January 9, 2019 at Todd Dickey Nursing & Rehab of Leavenworth. She was born August 9, 1949 in Mifflin, IN to parents, Walker B. & Mary C. (Mahoney) Mattingly. She married Donald W. "Duck" Stroud April 24, 1970. She was a retired employee of Childcraft formerly of Salem. She is also a member of the Christian faith.

Survivors include: daughter- Donna Jones of English; son- Marty Stroud (Suann) of Marengo; grandchildren- Lakeisha Brown (Dakota) of Leavenworth, Trey Jones of English, Marcus Stroud of Marengo & Lucus Stroud of Marengo; great granddaughter- Sophia Brown of Leavenworth.; sisters- Delores Hanover of French Lick & Virginia Hobson of Orleans & brother- Patrick Hanover of English. She is preceded in death by: parents; husband; brothers- Lester Hanover & James Mattingly; sisters- Norma Clark & Mary Schuley.

Visitation will be from 3-8pm Saturday, January 12 at McAdams Mortuary. Funeral will be 1pm Sunday January 13 at the funeral home. Bro. Harvey McAdams & Bro Mark Manship will officiate. Burial will be in Rock Springs Cemetery of Hardinsburg.
