Mary Lou (Mattix) Powell

Mary Lou Powell. 74, of Paoli, passed away April 13, 2019 at her home in Paoli. She was born December 31, 1944 in Mitchell, IN to parents, Raymond & Laverne (Brown) Mattix. She married Michael Powell December 28, 1972. Mary Lou was owner and operator of the Paoli Drive-In from 1978-1988. She was a homemaker and current owner of Porky's BBQ of Paoli.

Survivors include: Husband- Michael Powell of Paoli

Daughter- DeeDee Meehan & husband, Mark of Paoli

Sons- Dale Watkins and wife, Marie of Paoli & Matthew Powell & wife, Vicki of Paoli

Sisters- Rita Williams of Mitchell & Becky Curtis of Bloomington

She is preceded in death by: brothers- James & Robert Mattix & sister- Alta Smith

A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at 1pm, Saturday, April 27 at Porky's BBQ of Paoli.
