Melvin "Carlo" Payton

Melvin "Carlo" Payton age 75, of Paoli, died August 16, 2022 at Paoli Health & Living Community. He was born April 18, 1947, in Paoli to parents Vance C. and Mildred (Gardner) Payton.  Carlo was retired from the first chance center, he was a member of the Christian faith and will be remembered by the community as an avid recycler with a big smile.

Survivors include:

Sisters- Judy Payton of Paoli, Ruth Busick (Steve) of Paoli;

Brother - Danny Payton of Paoli

Seven nieces

One nephew

Several great and great great nieces and nephews

Carlo is preceded in death by his parents, sister- Louise Scott and niece- Nancy Scott.

Visitation will be from 11 am until 2 pm Sunday, August 21 at McAdams Mortuary.  The Funeral will follow Sunday at 2 pm at the funeral home. Bro. Mark Tope and Randall Hamm will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. For condolences visit mcadamsmortuary.com
