Michele Susan Stevenson-Reitz

Michele Susan Stevenson-Reitz, 54, of Paoli, Indiana, formerly of Arkansas, passed away at her home on July 16, 2026.

She was born on August 8, 1971, in Dallas, Texas, to Ronnie and Sue (McPherson) Stevenson. 

She was employed at Pluto in French Lick for 16 years. Michele enjoyed crocheting and drawing. She loved tattoos and playing her Wii, as well as spending time with her animals, swimming, and drinking a cold beer. 

She is survived by her daughters, Shanaya Painter of Illinois, Abbey of Texas, and Jazzman Cogburn of French Lick; her sisters, Shay Stevenson of Arkansas, Rain Stevenson of Paoli, and Jacki Freeman of Missouri; her brother, Adam Prendergast of Illinois; several grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Michele was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation was chosen. A gathering to celebrate Michele’s life will be held on Saturday, July 25th, from 3-5pm at Sycamore Springs. Arrangements are by McAdams Mortuary. For condolences visit mcadamsmortuary.com.
