Orville "Bubby" Qualters

Orville "Bubby" Qualters, age 78, of English passed away on December 22, 2022 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital. He was born on August 8, 1944 in New Albany to parents William "Bill" & Dorothy Smith Qualters. He married Sandra D. Howard on July 23, 1974. Orville was a Veteran of the United States Army where he served 2 tours in Vietnam. He was also a retired logger and attended the Paoli Wesleyan Church and Little Mission Church.

Daughters: Lisa M. Lieber (Keith), Deborah L. Patton (Paul), Jamie S. VanMeter (Jason), & Jennifer D. Atwood (Justin)

Grandchildren: Bryant (Larissa) Mortensen, Abigail Bates (Evan), Brittany and Brandon Patton, Olivia, Caleb, & Hannah VanMeter, Jesse, Jayla, and Jenna Froman

Great Granddaughter: Rory Mortensen

Brother: John Qualters

Sister: Mary Green

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandma Minnie Smith Austin, a daughter Tracy Lynn, a grandson Justice Scott Froman, and a brother James E. Qualters

The English VFW 6160 will be doing military rights for Orville "Bubby" Qualters. The visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 4-7 pm at McAdams Mortuary. The funeral will be Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 1 pm at the funeral home. Bro. Jason VanMeter will officiate. Burial will be in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in English, IN
