Penny L. (Edwards) Karnes

Penny L. (Edwards) Karnes, 61, of Orleans passed away March 16 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. She was born August 13, 1959 in Lancaster, CA to parents, Johnny Freeland & Maribelle (Stafford) Edwards. She married Alvy Wayne Karnes May 12, 1991. Penny was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ Church of Latter Day Saints.

Husband- Alvy Wayne Karnes of Orleans

Sons- William Robert Enochs (Sarah) of Bedford; Joshuwa Karnes (Sara Coy) of Salem; Quintin Cial Karnes (Abby Jones) of Bedford & Jordan Thomas Karnes (Miranda) of Orleans

Sisters- Sonia J. Pruett, Elvadean Bickers & Lena Carmichael all of Bedford

Brothers- Johnny Freeland Edwards Jr., William Michael “Mike” Kast & Adam Thomas Kast all of Bedford

Grandchildren- Olivia, Taylor, Emily, Corbin, Kayden, Connor, Jaelyn, Kyla, Liliana, Hailey, Libby, Hunter, Myles, Bella & Paisley

Penny is preceded in death by parents, brother- Jéan Claude Kast & sister- Carmen Marie Edwards.

Visitation will be from 4-7pm Monday, March 22 at McAdams Mortuary. Funeral will be 1pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Bro. Keith Haley will officiate. Cremation will follow.
