Phillip R. Bruner

Phillip R. Bruner, age 84, of Orleans, passed away on May 24, 2024, at Paoli Health & Living Community.  Born on March 12, 1940, in Muncie, to parents Ernest Ray Bruner and Lydia A. Wells Bruner, Phillip led a life marked by service and dedication.

He honorably served his country as a US Marine Corps veteran during the Vietnam era, a testament to his courage and commitment.  On June 29, 1963, Phillip married Linda L. Tweddell.  Phillip retired from a career in collection management at the Bank of Orleans. Additionally, he was a proud member of the Orleans American Legion Post 69.

Phillip is survived by his daughter, Kristy Lynn Ford of Lakeland, TN, and his son, Daniel Joe Bruner of San Clemente, CA. He also leaves behind 4 beloved grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Linda, and his two brothers, Michael Keith Bruner and Randall Joe Bruner.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Fairview Cemetery in Orleans. Bro. Harvey McAdams will officiate.
