Reuben Lee Condra

Reuben Lee Condra, age 93, of Paoli, passed away August 20, 2026, at his daughter’s home.

He was born July 19, 1933, in Paoli to William Lee Condra and Stella Marie (Self) Condra. He married Leota (Hollen) Condra on January 1, 1954, and she preceded him in death on June 26, 2012.

Reuben was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He retired as a heavy equipment operator for the Orange County Highway Department and attended Victory Baptist Church in French Lick. Reuben enjoyed riding his golf cart around town, playing bingo with the senior citizens, and especially loved his Farmall tractors.

Survivors include his son, Alan Condra (Cheryl) of Cardington, Ohio; daughter, Christina Condra of Paoli; grandchildren, Michael Condra, Jeremy Bye, Damara Underhill, Lexy Samson, Johnni Collins, and Tina Condra; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Leota Condra; daughter, Darlene Condra; and sister, Alberta Cook.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 25, at 1:00 p.m. at McAdams Mortuary. Bro. Ron McClintic and Bro. Craig Chestnut will officiate. Burial will follow at Cooks Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at McAdams Mortuary. Military service will be provided by American Legion Post #69 of Orleans.
