Richard S. Boone, 85, of Leavenworth, passed away April 6, 2019 at Todd-Dickey Nursing and Rehab in Leavenworth. He was born February 15,1934 in Louisville, KY to parents, Monroe & Mary (Thompson) Boone. He was a veteran of the US Merchant Marines.
Survivors include: Daughter- Molly Bean of Marengo
Sons- Richard "Rick" Boone of Marengo, Dennis Boone of Milltown & Joe Boone of Evansville
3 granddaughters
He is preceded in death by: parents, son- John Boone & brothers- Robert, D. Boy, Billy & Daniel Boone
Visitation for Richard S. Boone will be from 11am-1pm Tuesday, April 9 at McAdams Mortuary. Funeral will follow at 1pm at the funeral home. Bro. Morris Larimore will officiate. Burial will be in Hardinsburg Cemetery.
