Richard Lee Brown

Richard Lee Brown, age 76 of Marengo, passed away on February 22, 2023 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was born on June 13, 1946 in Paoli to parents Chester Paul & Josephine Marie (Ingle) Brown. He married Edna Sloan on April 21, 1967. He is a U. S. Army Veteran. Richard retired from the Crawford County Highway Dept. and worked at several places including Paoli Chair, International Harvester, and R & L Logging. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and American Legion Post 84 both of Marengo. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and tractor & 4-wheeler rides with the grandkids. He also enjoyed visiting Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

Wife: Edna Brown of Marengo

Daughter: Stephanie Roshangah (Ace) of Marengo

Grandchildren: Falon Nichols (Dalton), Tyson Sloan (Shelby), & Ella Wright

Great Grandchildren: Kaden Nichols, Charlea Nichols, Calvin Nichols, Graylynn Deweese

Brothers: David Brown of Corydon & Douglas Brown of Eckerty

The visitation for Richard Lee Brown will be Saturday, February 25, 2023, from 4-8 pm at McAdams Mortuary. There will be a Masonic service at 7 pm on Saturday. The funeral will be Sunday, February 26, 2023 at 1 pm at the funeral home, friends may call after 10 am. Kevin Naillieux will officiate.
