Richard Laverne Woody Jr.

Richard Laverne Woody Jr., age 59 of French Lick, passed away on September 5, 2025 in French Lick. He was born on August 9, 1966 in Loogootee to Richard Laverne Woody Sr. & Sandra (Bruner) Woody. He was an employee of Masterbrand in Jasper. Richard was a member of the Indiana Abate. He entered many car shows with his 1999 Oldsmobile 442, along with his Harley-Davidson. Rick dearly loved and adored his pets. He will be deeply missed by his friends, who will forever remember the joy he brought to their lives. 

Survivors include his father, Richard Laverne Woody Sr. of Loogootee; step-father, Rudy; fiancée, Benita Ingram of French Lick; step-brothers, Scott Woody & Jimmy Woody; special friend and cousin, Carmen Sterling of Otwell; and also he cherished his Aunt Genny, who will miss him greatly. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Woody & brother, Cary Woody

Cremation was chosen. There will be a celebration of life at a later date. McAdams Mortuary is honored to serve the family of Richard Woody Jr.
