Rosalie Hobby

Rosalie Hobby, age 96 of West Baden, Passed away June 8, 2026 at Bloomington Hospice House. She was born January 8, 1930 in West Baden to parents, Jesse "Blue" & Hazel (Courtright) Rominger. She married Jimmy Richard Hobby November 11, 1965 and he preceded her in death on April 28, 1978. 

Rosalie was a retired real-estate agent for Begalery & Baker Real Estate formerly of French Lick. She attended Powell Valley Church of Shoals.

She is survived by: Daughters, Leah Bradford of Fort Worth, TX & Lori Gogel of Santa Claus, son, Daniel Hobby of Bloomington; brother, Morris Rominger of West Baden, 7 grandchildren, several great grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Lana Henson Purlee, son, Chris Hobby, sister, Virginia Sue Rominger, and brother, Robert Rominger. 

Private services will be held for Rosalie Hobby with the burial at Ames Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to
