Rosella Mae Bennett

Rosella Mae Bennett, age 86 of Paoli, passed away peacefully May 11, 2025 at Westview Nursing and Rehab of Bedford. She was born December 20, 1938 in DeRidder, LA to Bernard Louis and Vergie Caroline (Houk) Toby. She married John Bennett on June 17, 1961. Rosella was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting and painting, but nothing meant more to her than the people she loved- her family was always at the center of her life. She was also a member of Christ the King Catholic Church of Paoli.

She is survived by:

Daughters- Patricia A. Bennett (Richard M. Gold) of Trumbull, CT, and Therese Marie Love (Robert Teague) of Roanoke, AL.

Siblings- Viola Shupe of Paoli, Earl (Ann) Toby of Amherst, OH, Leo (Peggy) Toby of Orleans, Agnes Dillman of Gulf Shores, AL, Glen (Roberta) Toby of Marengo, Cathy (Terry) Thomans of Elizabethtown, Wendell (Brenda) Toby of Jasper, Henry (Kathy) Toby & Dorothy (Mike) Kellems both of Birdseye, sister-n-law- Henrietta Toby of Huntingburg

Grandchildren- Danielle (Jack), Brittany (Heath), Jonathan (Sierra) & Randi (Jody), 11 great grandchildren, one great-great-grandson and many nieces and nephews.

Rosella is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings- James Toby, William “Bill” Toby & Sandra Toby.

Funeral Mass for Rosella Mae Bennett will be at 11 am on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Christ the King Catholic Church of Paoli. Father Randy Summers will officiate. Burial will follow at Paoli Community Cemetery. Arrangements by McAdams Mortuary.
