Sharon Owens

Sharon K. Owens, 74, of Paoli, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on October 3, 2025. Born on May 8, 1951, in Clarksville, Sharon lived a life filled with faith, love, and devotion to her family.

She was married to Michael Owens for 30 years. She was the beloved mother of George C. South and his wife Melissa, and Christine Sanders. Sharon’s legacy lives on through her 10 grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren, who she loved with all of her heart. She was preceded in death by one cherished grandson, who welcomed her into Heaven.

She is also survived by two step-children, Tiffany Powell and her husband Derek Powell, and Kyle Owens, as well as five step-grandchildren.

Sharon’s greatest passion in life was her relationship with God. She loved to read, and her favorite book was always the Bible. Her favorite passages were Isaiah 58 & Psalms 91.

Her faith was the foundation of her life, and she shared that love and light with everyone around her.

She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her kind heart, her fierce spirit, and the deep love she had for her family.
